Butler County Antique Machinery Club
The Butler County Machinery Club was organized to share and preserve American's farming history. Each year the club attempts to bring this part of history back to life by demonstrating and showing antique machinery from a different time. Attending our show is like a modern day time capsule that you can see, hear, touch and smell. One of the things you will experience at our show is vintage farm tractors powering a belt pulley of a large McCormick-Deering thresher removing the wheat from the chaff. Imagine the taste of freshly squeezed apple cider being pressed by an old cider press which is being powered by a one hundred year old hit-n-miss gas engine. In the distance you hear the sound of a sawmill blade cutting trees logs down to size for lumber which will be used to build barns.
